From the Inland Empire to the Kent Valley, we buy and remove the rack, conveyor and automation in West Coast distribution centers, then hand the building back broom-clean.
The West Coast is home to the country's largest concentration of big-box distribution space, much of it built for imports coming through the Los Angeles, Long Beach, Oakland, Seattle and Tacoma ports. When a tenant consolidates or a lease ends, the building often holds tall selective rack, multi-level pick modules and miles of conveyor that need to come out on a tight schedule.
Whether it's a 20,000 sq ft regional warehouse or a 1,000,000 sq ft distribution center, we buy what has value, remove everything else and hand the building back broom-clean. Equipment value is credited against removal, so you get one net number.
California, Oregon and Washington rack is engineered for seismic loads. We plan teardown around heavy base plates, larger anchors and floor patching the landlord will inspect.
High-piled storage and in-rack sprinkler removal often needs coordination with the local fire authority. We handle that paperwork as part of the job.
For projects off the mainland, we plan crews, equipment and freight around barge and ocean shipping schedules.
